For a patch, placement and wear time become especially visible parts of the ritual. For a serum, the product directions may focus on amount and application sequence. Neither format should be judged by appearance alone, and neither automatically tells you what result to expect.
Targeted does not mean interchangeable.
A shaped patch may help communicate an intended area, but the label remains the guide. An eye-contour concept and a targeted facial concept can have different placement and use instructions.
The same applies to names. A peptide serum, a PDRN patch, and a GHK-Cu patch should not be treated as different packaging for the same formula. Look at the specific product identity before comparing them.

A useful format is one you can understand and use as directed. Consider the time, the preparation, and the practical setting. A product may look appealing in a photograph while asking for a routine that does not suit your day.
Wear time starts at 100 minutes, and a four-hour wear or an overnight wear are also options. That is a concrete piece of information you can plan around. It is more useful than assuming that a patch can be worn for any length of time.
