Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Optimal Beauty collects when you use this website, join the early-access list, or contact us — and what we do with it. It is written for a prelaunch website: we do not sell products or process payments yet.

What we collect

When you join the early-access list, we collect:

• Your email address (required).
• Your first name (optional).
• A consent record: what you agreed to, the consent version, and the date and time.

When you use the website, we collect limited technical information:

• The page you viewed and which page you joined from.
• Whether you arrived directly, from one of our pages, or from another website (domain only — never the full referring URL).
• Campaign tags (UTM source, medium, campaign), if present in the link you clicked.
• A random session identifier, your browser's language, and your device class (mobile, tablet, or desktop).

We do not collect health, skin, or medical information, photos, payment details, precise location, or any advertising identifiers at this stage.

How we use it

• To send your confirmation email and early-access updates you have agreed to.
• To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site (funnel analytics).
• To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
• To respond to your requests and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that affect you.

Legal basis (EEA and UK)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on your consent to store your email and send you updates, and on legitimate interest for aggregate, technical analytics and basic security. You can withdraw consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.

Service providers

Your information is processed by the following providers:

• Vercel — website hosting and request logs.
• Supabase — the database where your entry and aggregate events are stored.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

Providers process data only to operate the services described here and are bound by their own privacy and security terms.

Analytics and cookies

Our analytics are first-party and cookieless. We collect the technical information listed above through a request to our own server, with no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, and no cookies set for analytics. Because no nonessential tracking exists, there is nothing for a cookie banner to control.

Retention

• Early-access entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Unsubscribed addresses are kept only to honor the unsubscribe.
• Aggregate analytics events are retained for up to 24 months.

Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

• Unsubscribe using the link in every email.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
• Withdraw consent or object to processing.

Write to hello@optimal-beauty.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

International transfers

Our providers may store and process data in the United States or other regions where their infrastructure operates. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual safeguards.

Security

We limit collection to what this page needs, keep credentials server-side, and use TLS everywhere. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your email and name as information worth protecting.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post updates on this page with a revised date. Material changes to how we use your email will be communicated before they take effect.
